Student and Alumni musicians are wanted to perform during the Jake’s Wayback Burgers Fundraiser on Wed., 10/25/17.

Jake’s only has a small space to perform, so please keep the group size to a minimum. Instruments are welcome. Please bring whatever equipment you might need. Small groups only. You must bring all your own equipment. Nothing will be provided except a music stand! Nothing too loud please, this is a very small venue!

This is not a fundraiser for individual students.

This is a great opportunity to fulfill the community involvement requirements for the music scholarship application, FBLA, Honor Society, sociology class, other clubs, etc. that require community service. Please bring your forms with you and a Booster Club Officer will validate.

Signup at http://signup.com/go/CRBFNbk.

I’ve broken the times into 15 minute slots. Sign up for one or more as needed. Only one person can signup so if a group is performing, just leave a comment with who is performing with you.

Saturday, August 5th is the Classical Music Celebration presented by the Kindred Spirits Arts Programs and they could use some help!

Any DV Music students willing to volunteer to:

– hand out flyers at major intersections starting about noon and periodically thereafter

– help bring folding chairs to the gazebo at Ann’s Park for the 2 PM performance

– bring chairs on and off the stage during the 6 PM rehearsal and 7:30 PM evening performance at the theatre

– be the drummer and play a very easy part in a short final piece of the evening, Edward Grieg’s King of the Mountain. It needs a large bass drum and a cymbal. This could be a combination similar to the one used by a marching band.

Food and drinks will be offered to everyone at 5:30 PM.

They will gladly write recommendation letters to anyone for the services offered.

Anyone interested, should contact Yosif Feigelson directly at (570) 409 1269 or via email to kindredspir@yahoo.com.

Yosif is the Artistic Director at KSAP kindredspiritsarts.org. Please visit their website for more information on the Kindred Spirits Arts Programs and the 2017 Classical Music Celebration.

Performers, volunteers, and donations are needed to make our 4/22/17 Vendor & Craft Fair a success.

Please visit http://signup.com/go/5BLRgQ to see how you can help out on either Friday, 4/21 for setup and vendor setup and/or Saturday, 4/22 for the big event!

Check back often as we update the SignUp.com site as we finalize details of the event.
